Keeping the Faith…Taking Christianity Into the World

As a Body of Believers we are constantly bombarded with issues that are well beyond our “pay grade” leaving us to do the only thing we can: lean on the power of the Holy Spirit. Life issues will bombard us leaving us confused, dismayed, bewildered and feeling hopeless. Though many times in life our intentions are pure, are actions are without reproach and our heart-felt passions filled with good intentions, only to find those about us who are naysayers, power driven, polar in their actions and their deeds, dishonest and misleading.

Do not worry about what transpires here on earth, as that is all a worldly reaction and not that of God. Our job is solely to fight the good  fight and  do the best we can in life regardless of how others respond, whether negative, mean, cruel or receptive. If we continue to live according to God’s precepts, we will be doing His will and serving as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” 1 Timothy 6:12

Keep working for good, when you know your actions are pure

Keep doing the hard thing, even though it is the right thing

Keep a positive attitude and your mind clear even though all about you have clearly lost theirs. Many about you will seek power, their own way, stretch the truth to the point of breaking as they have an agenda that is not of God, but of themselves. Our job is to be wise as a fox to ensure that we are not led astray, do not all to the levels of others around us, and that we strive to always be the Hands and Feet of Jesus in a fallen world. Though you reward might not be here you are storing up treasures in Heaven

God will honor your efforts regardless of the outcome. Our goal is a Believer is not to ensure the outcome as that is up to God, but our responsibility it to solely ensure our behavior is in align with scripture and the teaching of love as Christ commanded.
