In a Twinkling of an Eye…Taking Christianity Into the World

I have known many who were here today and then gone tomorrow, as God calls those he loves home. Maybe you have a friend today that you have unresolved conflict with or need to reach out to. Perhaps there is someone in your life that you have not told you love them lately or could there be something in your own life, that you still need to ask God for forgiveness and to repent.

“…in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:52

Our lives here are not guaranteed beyond the present moment. So we should like innocent children, fear from sin and worry by total reliance on God as our Lord and Savior. Matthew 6:34 advises us to live in the present and to not let the troubles of tomorrow unduly worry us. I was reminded recently, by the below letter, of how precious life is and how we should value each and every moment.

What a difference a day makes!  Last week sure didn’t go as planned, but I got to see the hand of God in a very intense way.the cyclist, who, at last word, was extremely critical and may not make it.

I had a very eventful day in which I sold a couple of insurance policies and then managed to have my van totaled in a very serious accident. A guy on a motorcycle going an estimated 100+ MPH miscalculated a maneuver around my van and slammed into the back thereof.  I  flipped leftward, executing at least 1 1/2 rolls, slid across 3 lanes stopping upside down close to the median wall, all WITHOUT being hit by any other vehicles.

A 6 hour tour in Grady determined that I received a slight concussion and a cracked rib plus scrapes and bruises.  Praise God!  He miraculously spared my life and prevented serious injury.

Please pray for

Thank the Lord for His miraculous protection! I hope all’s well in your world.

Take care,

God has a plan for your life. All you have to do is to tune in, stay connected by prayer and study and He will lead you to where He wills and desires. In the Matchless Name of Christ!
