I am writing you in a good faith attempt to come to terms over the above taxpayers’ present predicament and to address their tax issues and your initial assessment. I am willing/eager to supply you with any information that you might need in order to process the audit. I have enclosed the information that the client has forwarded for you to process the audit. Please note the taxpayer has forwarded to me the year-end tax statements, the 501(c) designations as received from the IRS. Accordingly please allow the below cash contributions to charities and update your assessment accordingly: 

ADC Charity                                                  $    500.

123 Charity                                                         4,000.

Total                                                               $  4,500. 

Since I have assumed their role as their financial adviser I have met with the taxpayers and they are desirous to ensruing that their future tax filings are correct and that they are committed to ensuring that they pay all of their taxes as they become due.
