Atlanta Teens in Action..Serving God in Atlanta
We thought this devotion was appropriate since we are having so many teenagers come into the ministry this summer. We are on our second week of taking students out every day and it already has been powerful! God is working through the youth…just as He worked through Timothy in the Bible. May we all take our example from them and fearlessly make known the mysteries of the gospel everywhere we are; the grocery store, our jobs, or the mission fields. Paul also talks about training ourselves for godliness. That requires action on our part. Sure, we are justified when we accept Christ as our Savior, but our sanctification (being made into the image of God) requires us to be intentional in our pursuit of Him. As we continue to seek Him, we will for sure be an impact for Christ!
Also going on this week, we have our 8-14 year olds away at Camp Evergreen, a Christian summer camp through Mt. Bethel. The younger kids are attending Vacation Bible School at Kings Spring Baptist in the evenings. Please be praying that our youth will learn and grow and will be mighty vessels for God when they return!
We are completely full here in the ministry and are turning away people every day. Continue to pray for us as we live each day, serving God through serving His children in need. The needs are greater than what we are able to do but we know “One” who is capable of all things! As a reminder, Pastor 7 will be going on vacation next week, the 16-the 23. He will not have access to phone or email while he is gone but will return all messages as soon as he can.

Pastor 7 with 7 Bridges to Recovery is doing great things to Feed the Homeless of Atlanta while spreading the word of God. I suggest you go down and see what he is doing on the weekends to take the message to the streets of Atlanta. I believe he would be a great speaker to the whole congregation and Discipleship Groups as people are looking for opportunities to get real with their faith by being the very Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ.
