I Suggest:
-You make plans to join me there at the meeting as I feel like your presence at the meeting will do much to put a face on the issue with the IRS.
-That you file and pay your 2011 personal income tax return ASAP as I do not expect them to be allowed to consider the abatement unless you are current for both 2011 taxes and your 2012 tax liability as well. If you need help with the filing of this return please get this data to me by Monday. In any event please bring along to this meeting proof of filing/payment and return.
Please be reminded that IRS and GA Tax Rules require you to be current with both your filings and payments to ensure tax compliance and for taxing authorities/IRS to consider penalty abatement.
