Duluth, Norcross CPA: What Should a CPA firm Cost for my Business?

A typical small business is approximately $900 to $1400 annually to cover their:

Corporate Income Taxes

Personal Income Taxes

Tax Planning

Critiquing their financial statements at year end to get them ready to prepare taxes

Miscellaneous small questions (ten minutes).

This is typical for a one to five person business and assumes their financial data is well presented and organized, that they use a payroll service and prepare their own sales tax reports.

For a business with about ten times more employees it would be a prudent estimate to assume their fees will be closer to the $1500 to $2500 range based upon companyies we presently serve.

It would be prudent to spend time on the front end discussing their bookkeeping, chart of accounts, classifications etc. to ensure they are properly set up to record their data and to prepare their internal financial statements. It is on the front end that we can help them create efficiencies in their operations.

One of our 20 year clients has grown some 800% while their fees have remained approximately the same because of our focus on serving our clients’ needs efficiently and effectively.
