His CPA…Tax Help When You Need It.
The below is a sample letter we might get off of our web site:
I need your help. I received this attached letter from GA Dept of Revenue. I realize that I still have to file tax documents even when I have not done any work.
The thing is I searched their website and I am not sure what form I need to fill out. Any help will be appreciated. I understand you don’t work for free so if you could let me know what you charge for this help whether it is telling me what forms or preparing this for me, I would be grateful. On another note I am in the process of getting work and I am currently looking over an opportunity that may pay enough and I may be looking to get you to help me setup taxation as an S-corp. I hope I got that right. I remember you telling me that before I make x amount to change tax structure of my LLC. That time may be approaching. I will know more in the next week. Thanks for your help.
Below is my response:
GA is looking for you to file GA payroll returns for withholding and also if you registered with GA Dept. of Labor you will need to do those as well.
I suggest you call them confirm the forms they want you to file and file them. If you had no payroll you will show zeroes in all the locations.
You will also want to file with IRS payroll forms as well (IRS Form 940 & 941).
Be sure to file all future forms even if have no payroll be the due date.
If you want me to convert your LLC to an S Corporation can do for $195. If you want me to do please send to me copies of your incorporation papers and your EIN of your LLC and a copy of your last filed personal return and I can get the paperwork started.
Feel free to call might you have any questions.
