Items Needed your Personal Income Tax Return.
The prior year you had $10,000 of independent contractor income, that was not assigned to your business. What was your independent contractor income for the year. I suggest we meet to consider setting up your proprietorship as an S Corporation for both tax mitigation and legal liability protection.
What was your business miles against your independent contractor income.
For your other entities, for business mileage, please be sure to get reimbursed for this and all other expenses you have not yet been reimbursed, as this will provide you full reimbursement for your business expenses you paid personally, not just a tax deduction.
Please be sure to forward to me copies of your yearend statements for your:
-Disability (did you deduct the premiums on the policy or did you pay personally)
-Real Estate Taxes on your home.
-Interest Income, Capital Gains, Other Income
