I believe that adult education and service/mission projects should look to work hand in hand in doing so starting each quarter to have break out weekends. The quarterly break-out sessions would include a wide host of topics from finance, to child rearing, to Missions, to Discipleship to Bible Study and would last from Friday evening to Saturday mid-day. One of the primary starting point sessions should a “brass tacks” “keep it simple” approach to what Christian Leadership looks like. Voice of One: Nehemiah’s Prayer, is for those who are seeking to be more like Christ.
Christian Leadership 101.
There are many who will buy secular book after another seeking to learn how the world sees Leadership. A Voice of One: Nehemiah’s Story is what God has to say about leadership. Humble servant-hood, an open heart, a willing body, an over-comer are all tenants of a someone to whom God can and will do great things through. Unlock the truth of the Bible, putting them to work in your life seeking to be all that God would have you be, while learning how to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
If we are to be a church of doers and to fulfill our destiny we need to guide others to live their lives to “Dare to Attempt Something so Great for the Kingdom of God that it is doomed to failure, lest Christ be in it!”
Imagine what would happen if all Believers lived their lives unafraid and willing to do God’s bidding when prompted. Freed from the chains that bound them, we would be free to do the bidding of Jesus Christ. Nehemiah’s story is about how one man, a layman, listened to God and did what all thought impossible. Nehemiah, sought the favor of a king, who provided the needed resources he needed to accomplish his task of rebuilding Jerusalem’s broken down walls in just 52 days, A Voice of One: Nehemiah’s Story will lead you and your Christian walk guiding you to higher heights still. This is a must read for Believers who are seeking to fulfill their God given destiny and want to live in accordance with God’s will.
