Duluth CPA Asks…What is Your Mission Statement…Taking Christianity Into the World

Recently I was asked what our Mission Statement was. I knew what it was but it was advantageous for me to reduce to simple terms. Might I suggest as you begin the New Year that you crystallize your visions and thoughts to Served God in 2010.

To share the Good News of Jesus Christ by example and deed with the ultimate goal of building disciples for both those we serve and those we serve with.

Duluth GA CPA on Feeding the Homeless of Atlanta on Christmas Day…Who Are You Serving This Christmas…Taking Christianity Into the World Who Are You Serving

WWJD do if He Lived in Atlanta This Christmas ?  I believe he would do as He did every day…Serve the Lost the Last and the Least. Rather than letting Christmas become more about the gifts and the food, we invite you to join us in Serving and Glorifying our Savior.

Join us December 25th at noon on Christmas Day for a special, intimate Christmas service/get together at the Garden, take a tour of the facilities there and then head out into the streets. At the Garden we will both celebrate the birth of our Savior and catch a vision of what Pastor 7 is doing at the shelter and how we might partner with him during the year.

If you would like to join us, we are asking that each family make up 5 lunches for the streets (sack lunches to include PB& J sandwich, chips, water, fruit, sweet snack).  You can also bring any donations you have at that time. Please reply and let me know if you are interested in joining us.

If you would like to join us please send your e-mail address, full name, how many will be in your group, and contact/phone information to tamfram2002 AT yahoo.com

Pastor 7 has recently been donated several thousand dollars of lumber and supplies to build out the dorms/sleeping area for the ladies. Soon we will be announcing dates that people might be able to help with the construction efforts. Also, they are in need of  more construction supplies. If you feel led and would like to donate a Lowe’s or Home Depot gift card to the ministry it will help the lives of many. The ministry is in year round need of clothing, blankets, canned goods, sleeping bags and people who desire to partner with Pastor 7 to care for those who need it the most.

Thank you for caring and please pray for Pastor 7, his men and the ministry. To learn about his ministry visit http://www.7bridgestorecovery.org/home_page.html  Below is a sample of his weekly e-mail to the world along with their needs. Pray to see what God might have you do to serve Him in your community. God Bless You Each and Every One.

Pursuing Biblical Marriage…Taking Christianity Into the World

Pursuing Biblical Marriage…Taking Christianity Into the World

Recently I was deeply saddened to learn about an impending divorce. It broke my heart and yet confirmed in my soul that God is good and that He is Good All the Time. Though all about you is toil and trouble, seek after His will for your life with all of your heart and soul and God will guide you through all that troubles you, lifting you up as you seek His will and grow in His name. Below you will find words of Truth, Comfort & Joy:

Sadly and fortunately I have experienced much of what you are presently going through and believe that God will bring you through it, it you will lean on Him, be obedient, and listen to His prompting. What I am going to share next is not intended to give advice or to direct you in any way, but to share with you what I have learned. During my trials and tribulations I have watched God do much to grow and strengthen me. It is amazing to look back at God’s providence and what He was doing all along both to and through me. Though God’s word is quite clear, He hates divorce, frequently the application of questions and scenarios dampen our spirit, challenge our worth, and raise havoc with both our faith and vision.

I did not know it at the time but God had something incredible in store for me and my life. God initially did not allow divorce in any form, but allowed us as frail humans to get a divorce in the event of infidelity or if our unbelieving spouse left. Though the time I was deeply saddened and even embarrassed by my divorce, God has led me through the down times and to and excellence in life and peace that can only be attained by faith in Him.

Also I have learned that it is when we serve others especially The Lost, The Least and the Last that we can reign down God’s power in our lives. This past Thanksgiving we were able to serve the Homeless of Atlanta to which today, I received the below e-mail. God continues to be faithful as we are obedient to His prompting. I share this with you only to encourage you that the best way I have learned to heal is in and by my service to others.

I want to thank you and your family for ALL that you have done and continue to do for the lost, the last and the least.  When I returned to our hotel room Thursday night, after a day of feasting and spending time with my extended family, I was touched by your daughter’s  post on Face-book that she had spent the day serving the homeless and that it would become her new Thanksgiving Day tradition.  We know that God touches all of our hearts, including the children through their parents whose hearts were first touched.  Happy holidays.  May God bless us, every one!

I have learned that God, regardless of your life circumstance, has a great plan for you and your life. To discover His will for mine and to discover my God given destiny and to learn his will, I have to study the Bible by reading God’s word, fellowship with other Believers at church and socially, and to romance my Savior. By reading the Bible I have discovered what God says, not what I think it says, not what others say it says, but what God wants to tell me personally. There is no better way to learn God’s love than to spend time with Him. It is by our being a part of the Body of Christ and church attendance that we get strength, wisdom, support and encouragement to tackle life’s problems and challenges.

It has been by our joint family service, that God has allowed me to begin becoming the man that He desires me to be. To do so, I have learned to die to self and to serve those to whom have been entrusted with my care. Also through missions I have watched as my church family became my true family as my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ have reached out in love to me and me to them. As I have grown in the spirit I have also learned that God wants me not just to serve others on Mission Trips but throughout the year to all I come in contact with. We are all ordained, like Nehemiah in the Old Testament, to be Lay Ministers for the Glory of God and to lead others to support and encourage a Lost World and to be the Hands & Feet of Jesus Christ.

We all sin. Though we are made in His Image, we all fall short of the Glory of God as He alone is perfect. Absent infidelity or abuse a spouse who loves God and seeks to obey His word will not leave a marriage, for if she had, she would not have left. However after she opted to leave, I began the process of moving on with my life. While we separated I believed it was my responsibility to be emotionally available, in the event of her desire to reconcile. To this end, I pursued counseling, a wedding encounter weekend, and many varied attempts to see what I might do to encourage that we stay married. I also joined a Divorce Recover Group at the best local church I could find, so that I might learn what I had contributed to my failed marriage and to surround and immerse myself with both Believers to whom I could both support and be encouraged. To this end, I know I pursued the truth with zeal and enthusiasm and I know that in my heart, that I did all that I could to focus on doing what I could to keep God in the center of my life and marriage. I still recall with great joy that it was during this time, that I was labeled a “Jesus Freak”, a title which I still enjoy and pursue more and more.

Being Still

“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14

In our human frailty we most often do exactly what is not needed. We strive to fix and address life issues in our own right. I have learned, through God’s grace, that my first charge in the face of adversity is to be still; for it is only by our inactivity are we able to see what God might have us do. During my time of stillness I have learned to look to the Heavens and to ask God, if he needs me; for I worship a God of great power who does not need me to affect His will. My main charge during trials and tribulations is to focus on first being obedient to His Word and to Be Still so that I might hear his voice, so that I might honor His prompting.

When I finally learned, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that there was no hope for reconciliation I let my unbelieving spouse go, both emotionally and every way possible. It was at this time, that God met me lifting me up, carrying me when needed, and then safely depositing me on the other side of my trials and tribulations. God hates divorce, but He can use all things to His Glory. It was also during my divorce that I learned that I cannot make another happy, I cannot be responsible for what they do and I am truly only accountable to Him.

Though I did not know it at the time, all the while that I was going through great pains, sufferings and growth there was yet another who was doing so as well. During this time I never met them, knew what they looked like or had any indication of who they were in the past or were in the process of becoming. It was only after I looked within myself challenging myself to be more like Him, to Seek Only His Will for both myself and for a mate, that did God allow me to meet Her. Though she is not perfect, she is much closer to it than I. Though she has failings, she has many, many more strengths. Though she could respond with what I deserve, she offers grace and compassion, just like my creator. I wonder where she learned it from. :0)) As she and I sought after Him with all of your heart and soul, we are now able to have a true God centered marriage with Him at the center.

I believe it was only when God allowed me to get to the bottom of my rope, that He pulled me up, dusted me off, and set me high upon a rock to keep me safe and to watch out after my daily needs. By striving to live in Obedience to Him, I learned that He is always faithful and that I need to Worship, Grow and Serve to learn to be most like Him. Thought I fail often, the failings are not as futile or as devastating as I chose to Live for my Savior. My Friend, My Father. My God!!!

Recently God has pulled me yet deeper still. I feel the romance of His love, the comfort of His Staff, and the Faithfulness of His Word. Recently my heart was filled to overflowing as I wrote theses words:

I Will Never Be the Same

I will never be the same. I will tell all I see. I cannot go back. His way is my way.

I am forever His. We will always be together. I will live with Him forever in the Heavens.

I have seen the Light and He is good.  I have felt His presence. I know he looks after me through thick and thin.

I have felt His forgiveness. He has blessed by obedience. I have seen His strength. He is my DNA.

I have the power of the Holy Spirit. He lifts me up. I have felt His mercy. I have true inner peace.

I know His love. I am a part of the Body. I am unduly blessed. Words cannot express by joy.

I am uniquely His. He made me in His image. I have a destiny. I know where I am going.

I have read His Word. His words lift me up to higher heights. I have tested His truth. His words are timeless and His truth enduring.

I have touched His garment. I know what it is like to be in His presence. I will always persevere. No one can stop me.

I am an over comer. I can do all things in His name. I am saved. By faith alone. WOW.

I cannot be lost. He will never let anyone have me. No one can snatch me from His hand. I know where I am headed.

I know He is here. He has my “back” all the time, while still guiding my steps.

I know He is watching. He is making a way for me to follow. I know He is guiding. He has measured the distance and prepared my heart.

I am forever His. He promises me eternity and I have a mansion in Heaven. I cannot go back. Satan can go back to where he lives.

I will never be the same.

Atlanta CPA Asks…Do You Want to Release the Power of God Into Your Life?…Taking Christianity Into the World

I appreciate all you are doing to help encourage and support those that are lost in the world. We have discovered it is when we are Serving the Lost, the Last and the Least, that we have been able to change lives of those we serve, those we serve with, and to reign down God’s power into your life and the lives of others. When Jesus walked the earth, he did go to church but it is not there where He spent most of his time. We went into all parts of his world telling others the Great News and His desire to served a lost world.

We have gotten involved in helping Pastor 7 at 7 Bridges to Recovery as he helps served the homeless of Atlanta. Your work and ministry can speak boldly into a lost world seeking to help those get back on their feet and thereby do great things in God’s name!!  To learn more about Pastor 7’s ministry of Serving the Homeless of Atlanta visit http://www.7bridgestorecovery.org/home_page.html

It does not matter as much where you serve, but that you serve. For it is in your serving that your passions and desire for ministry will become self evident as you are filled by the Holy Spirit. For I believe that it is our stillness we can listen, but it is in our willingness to move that God can use us.

Atlanta CPA Offers Thanksgiving for Warriors for the Kingdom of God…Taking Christianity Into the World

Atlanta CPA Offers Thanksgiving for Warriors for the Kingdom of  God…Taking Christianity Into the World

Serving the Lost the Last and the Least

It was an honor to serve alongside you this Thanksgiving. God is deeply touched and honored by your efforts. Continue in your efforts to excel in all that you do and to look to the needs of others. Reading God’s word and applying it to your life and Christian Service, is how God will best pour out his power and majesty in your lives.

I watched every one of you intently on this day as you poured out God’s love and put down your busy daily lives and did What Jesus Would Do on this great day. You have answered this call and sought out His will for you, your family and your lives. I encourage you to draw a line in the sand and use this Thanksgiving as a defining moment in your lives to seek to Serve Him in All That You Do. If you accept this heavenly ordained will for your life, God will meet you where you are, guiding your steps.

In the Old Testament, Nehemiah was burdened by prayer and tears for the walls of Jerusalem, which lay in ruins. In Nehemiah’s Obedience, he sought out by prayer, God’s blessings and favor for his work. Nehemiah personally went to inspect the city walls to see what might be done to protect God’s chosen people. This Thanksgiving you have inspected the walls of the Homeless of Atlanta and found what I have also seen. A people who need love, a hand up and most of all God’s love from God’s people.

Seek always to Live in Obedience to His word and He will honor your efforts regardless of life’s circumstances, illness, job loss, family, work and school issues. We believe that God uses the oldest to the youngest in perfect unity to His will. He God uses us all, especially our weakness and our failings to serve, uplift and mentor to the needs of others. For it is in our weakness that we are strong. It is when we decrease and put aside things of the world, that God can use us to do great things in God’s name.

I invite you to join us on a great journey to work alongside Pastor 7 and the 7 Bridges to Recovery to Serve the Lost the Last and the Least of Atlanta. God wants you to live expectantly and to expect to be able to do Great Things in God’s Name, always seeking and expecting the Power and Majesty of Christ. If you live Humbly Seeking to Serve, Rather than Being Served, You will Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ bringing miracles into your life and the lives of others.

God has a Great Plan for You and Your Life. Join us as We Do This Great Thing God has laid on our Hearts.

In the Matchless Name of Our Lord and Savior,
John & Tami Dillard

Gwinnett CPA Seeking Revival for the World by…Taking Christianity Into the World

Serving Christ with Thanksgiving and Praise

Recently I receieved an invitation off of my website, which leads me to challenge you all to Do All That You Do, For the Glory of God. We Are Seeking Revival for the World by…Taking Christianity Into the World, We are not waiting for the church or church staff to do it, as they already have their hands full taking care of those who regularly attend. However, it is prudent to note that Jesus spent his time in the world, taking God’s truth into the world. As you spend time with your family this Thanksgiving and Christmas I challenge you to speak God’s truth into a lost world watching the power and glory of God manifest itself into the lives of others. I pray for you all that you might be willing to seek God’s will for you and to fulfill your God given destinty.

Mr John Dillard, I was reading through your website and the wonderful work you are doing for the kingdom of God. Iam an accounting student with a local university. For almost a year now I have been looking for someone I can share my dream with and I felt a strong connection as I read through your website, i paused and shed tears as I see what you are doing. I have a burden I need to share with you and if the lord gives you peace in your heart I will greatly appreciate to have a word with you.

Thanks a million and I am looking forward to speaking with you soon.

Gwinnett CPA on Navajo Family Missions: Should Your Family Served God in the Mission Field?…Taking Christianity Into the World

Recently I received a note from one of our very important team members that speaks volumes as to why I believe that Mission work is one the very best ways to release God’s power into your life. I invite you to read it solely and listen to God’s pulling on your heart.

Good morning family.  It always amazes me of God’s perfect timing.  Last evening some of us met to discuss future plans for our next visit to our second home, Pueblo Pintado and this a.m. I finally carve time out of my busy schedule to sit and read Carol’s amazing words of reflection on our trip this year to Pueblo Pintado!!!!!!!!!!!  Praise God for Carols’ gift and time to assist us in remembering who’s we are and who we serve.  Carol I can’t thank you enough for your special gift to us all.  I was once again able to enjoy our journey and mission, but to also get caught up with the other Miracles God has provided for other team members.  PRAISE GOD!

As we were driving home last evening (he tired from a long day at work) we both agreed how blessed and full of sweetness our life has become.  Our PP family adds to that sweet taste and fills our hearts to a different level.  It is amazing how comfortable and safe I feel with my mission team family.  I truly have nothing to hide, I am able to share my weaknesses and strengths and am loved for both.  Thank you Lord for your blessings on this mission team.  We feel your love and spirit.

In God’s Grace, Awee’ Chiin (My Navajo Name)

To gain a bit of our work there I invite you to watch our video. I entreat you to pray before you watch, that you watch with a open heart, and then that you listen to the Lion of Judah, Our God, speaking to your heart. Perhaps your family, your church, your Bible study group might join our Family Missions Work to the Navajo as we call down the power of Almighty God as we Worship, Grow and Serve Jesus Christ. See God at work at  http://bit.ly/QS0V9 If you listen and watch with an open heart, it will change your world.

Duluth CPA Seeking Contributions of Constructions Supplies & Skilled Tradesmen & Contractors for Atlanta Homeless Shelter…Taking Christianity Into the World

“Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” Matthew 9:37

God came to Serve the World in the form of Jesus to live with us and not to rule with an iron hand over us. Making himself like a servant desiring to be the very least among us choosing to be obedient, even to death on a cross. Jesus could have, at any time, called down a legion of angels to take over the world so that He might rule it, instead he desired to be more like a bondservant rather than a King. It is in his perfect example of humility, which is Power Under Control, Jesus Chose to reach out to us at our level. It is when we meet people at their station of life, not ours, that God can use our weakness to His Glory.

Pastor 7, his men and the ministry are doing great things in God’s name to serve the Homeless Men & Women of Atlanta. To learn about his ministry visit http://www.7bridgestorecovery.org/home_page.html
