Duluth GA CPA on Missions: Do You Want a Good Week or to Make a Difference in People’s Lives…Taking Christianity Into the World

God asks us to excel in all things. As a Believer I think that requires us to do our very best at work, school, home, chores and essentially everywhere we go every second of the day. However there is perhaps no greater calling than when we tells others the good news of Jesus Christ. For the last three years my family and I have been blessed to serve the Navajo People. There is no greater calling, than laying down our lives and seeing to the needs of others. In answering this call, we first sought to be bold in our faith and to excel at all levels of our trip. When Jesus summed up the Bible he told us to love others as we love ourselves and to love our Lord with all our heart and mind. It was to this end we set out to SERVE the wonderful and blessed people and our Native Americans the Navajo.

One of our first mission goals was not to have a great week, but to have a great relationship. We began to search out the multitudes of ways we might encourage, walk with, support and befriend our new best friends. To this end, we seek to see others as God sees them with all the love and joy in our hearts, with no hold backs and without reserve. There is no greater joy than when we reach out to others in His name. I just received this note from our primary contact, Arnold,  who lives there on the reservation. The words speak to themselves of the love that has been poured out on God’s people the Navajo. I am blessed and honored to have served alongside you and look forward to higher heights still as we broaden and deepen our love for these incredible people.

Will I don’t know how the Lord got us together, many thanks in having  my family with you for a week and taking care of them. You two have a good heart in people and friends from the wonderful story and information I have heard from others when I picked them up at the airport (Monday) and the wonderful church and people they meet at your church. I keep praying for my church and my pastor getting will and getting more members in our church. Again thanks for the many things you do for my family and take care, love from you brother and family.

Duluth GA/Gwinnett CPA Challenges All Believers to be the Very Hands & Feet of Jesus Christ…Taking Christianity Into the World

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:12-14

Jesus encourages us in our faith to do even greater things than He did. Imagine it, for a moment, let the thought sink in. The King of the Universe and the Creator of All, Abba Father tells us that we can do great things in His name. We are further encouraged by the Apostle Paul, to be bold in our Faith living up to the destiny and calling on our lives. I believe that each and every one of you who have felt the call to go on this trip has great things that you will each do, as you serve the Navajo people and each other, by being the very hands and feet of Jesus Christ.

Dare to Attempt Something so Great for the Kingdom of God that it is doomed to failure, lest Christ be in it!

Through the day I think of myself as a mild mannered CPA, but during the evening that I am a Warrior for the Kingdom of God. I invite you call to call on the Power of God to go great things to and through you as we jointly answer the call to Serve God as Warriors for Him. God has a great plan for you and your life and I am excited as we all discover God’s will for our lives.

In the Matchless Name of Jesus Christ,

Duluth GA CPA Seeking Mission Partners to Serve our Native Americans the Navajo

Recently I received an inquiry from an individual whom I have met on a previous trip to the Navajo Indian Reservation in New Mexico. I believe it is be our joint efforts that we can most efficiently partner to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and it is to then end, I forwarded the below resposne:

I definitely remember our meeting on the reservation in the rain at Whithorse as we enjoyed drops of joy/rain from heaven…

We are planning on being there for a week on July 10th.

We are looking for ways to bring the community together and believe that perhaps by our joint service on the same week that we might have the impetus to spread revival throughout the reservation.

We would welcome partnering with you to:

-Have VBS at the High School

-Enjoy a community night at the Pintado Senior Center on the 11th.

-Coordinate construction projects.

-Join us as we rebuild a VW while talking about how the conforming power of Christ changes our lives. At the end of our stay there we are looking to see who God will have use give the car to.

-Community night that Wednesday including a band, sports, bingo and a fair.

-Adult Bible Study.

-Sports Camp.

-A night up on the Mesa Thursday night praising and worshiping God.

I believe God is poising us to reach the community more than ever before and I believe it is through our joint efforts that God will be most favored.

Hope to see you soon, rain or sun!

In the Matchless Name of Christ, John Dillard CPA,  770 814 9304

CPA Serving Tucker/Norcross/Sandy Springs Presents Pastor 7’s Heart…Serving the Homeless of Atlanta…Taking Christianity Into the World

I would like to start this week’s email with a question…..  If you had to choose would you rather be Samson or Samuel?? “And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gideon , and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets. ” Hebrews 11:32

Samson and Samuel were both very much the same and very different. Both men were judges, anointed of God to lead Israel. Both took the vow of the Nazarite. Both fought the Philistines. Both men are included in Hebrews 11 and in God’s Hall of Fame. Samson, a man of incredible physical strength, was impetuous, carnal, lustful, driven by his appetites.  In his hunger for vengeance he plead with God to destroy not only the philistines, but also his own life. By way of contrast, Samuel, a man of incredible spiritual strength, was content to let God fight his battles for him. A man powerful in the word of prayer, he lead Israel back from the worship of dead idols to the living God. Samson’s confidence was in what God had given him; Samuel’s confidence was in what God could do through him.

In the flesh, Samson appears more attractive to many men. Alive, confident, he boldly sought to do great things for God. On the other hand Samuel was more quiet, somewhat reclusive, available as a channel for whatever God wanted to do. Although God called Samson great, those who emulate him have a problem. If God had not placed him in his Hall of fame, Samson’s carnal lifestyle would make you wonder if he was saved. Thus, he who follows Samson’s example must wait until the judgment for affirmation; those who know and love him cannot affirm his carnality. You have a better model in Samuel.

We are so in awe with God. All permits and contracts are signed and construction started today. I’m going to just keep allowing God to show how miraculous he is in all our lives. God is always right on time. I would like to say thank you for all your prayers, love , and support that is given.  May many blessings be poured out like a river upon your lives. God bless.

GO JESUS GO JESUS GO!  LOVE,  Pastor 7

Pastor 7 with 7 Bridges to Recovery is doing great things to Feed the Homeless of Atlanta while spreading the word of God. I suggest you go down and see what he is doing on the weekends to take the message to the streets of Atlanta. I believe he would be a great speaker to the whole congregation and Discipleship Groups as people are looking for opportunities to get real with their faith by being the very Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ.    You can read about his Ministry at http://www.7bridgestorecovery.org/home_page.html   We are actively involved in going and supporting Pastor 7 and the great work he is doing to Serve the Lost, the Last & the Least.

Atlanta Christian CPA on How We Can Help Serve Others…Taking Christianity Into the World

Top 10 Ways a Faith Based Business Can Serve Others

Though I continue to learn throughout my life as to what I can do better to excel and to see and treat others as though I would want them to treat myself. Just as the Apostle Paul continued throughout his life, even in the twilight years, to excel in his faith and to continue to conform his life to like that of Christ and to train his mind, body  and spirit to have enduring faith and a love and peace that surpasses all understanding. To this end there are many attributes I strive to bring to my work life so that Christ and not myself might be edified. Here is the Top 10 Ways a Faith Based Business Can Serve Others:

1. Share with Others Your Favorite Bible Verse. I have learned there is no faster way to invite God to join a conversation and to bring His word to life.

2. Offer a Word of Encouragement. There is no greater way than to both support and show the love of Christ to others.

3. Support Others in Times of Trouble. Walking alongside others during times of toil and trouble are essential to being the Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ.

4. Serving Others. By seeking to and attending to the needs of others we can best see the Power of God being released into our life. This is the best way I have found to not focus on myself and to not get down, is to seek to and serve others who are down and need support.

5.Point the Way to Salvation. By sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ we are best able to Fulfill the Great Commission, Jesus last words for us to live by.

6. Invite Others to Church. Giving to others the opportunity to gain the word of God on a weekly basis and support of fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.

7. Take the Time to Write a Note. Whether you send an e-mail or drop a note to a friend when needs you, you are giving others grace, love and needed support in times of trial.

8.Serve on a Mission Trip. Calling on the Power of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit while serving on Missions is an essential part of a mission trip to ensure that every word, step action and deed are in alignment with His will. It is then our challenge to take this calling to our daily work and family lives.

9. Christian Leadership. There perhaps has been no greater joy that the opportunity to share with others what Christ has taught myself. In so doing Christ reveals even more of himself to me as learn more about what is being taught.

10.Missions Start at Home: One of our family mottos over the last several years is that we are to live out our faith in the lives of our wives, husbands, children, sisters, brothers and family. There is not greater challenge or calling to serve those who God has entrusted to us.

Atlanta CPA Asks Have you Been Prosecuted for Your Faith Today?… Taking Christianity Into the World

God is good for I know when I seek Him, live according to His precepts and live in His will for my life I find a peace about me that truly does surpass all understanding. It is often when we are doing the most good for the Kingdom of God that naysayers as well as Satan will join together in an effort to derail our Godly effort.

I exhort you to do something today to further the Kingdom of God. Go Tell Others About Christ, Share your Faith, Help Out Someone in Need, Encourage Those Who Are Suffering, Strengthen Those Who Need You and most importantly of all to Be the Hands & Feet of Jesus Christ. Look to ways that you can serve the Lost, the Last and the Least and to lead them to our Almighty God.

By our thinking globally while serving locally we as Christian Believers can unite the Body of Christ and to be Light Unto the World. If you are being prosecuted for your efforts to fulfill your God given destiny you are doing great things for God’s Glory so continue to fight the good fight and to do all you can to be the very Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ.

Dare to Attempt Something so Great for the Kingdom of God that it is doomed to failure, lest Christ be in it!

Atlanta CPA Seeking Christian Musician to Join us on Family Mission Trip to Serve Our Native Americans: the Navajo/Dine…Taking Christianity Into the World

We have so many youth on the reservation that we are not reaching and I’ve been in constant prayer for ways for us to connect with them and share with them.  They have so few role models (especially males) and while we do a really great VBS and a really great women’s bible study, we are not hitting the right spot when it comes to the teens and the teenage years are when they need it most. I am seeking a Christian Musician who loves the Lord, who wants to serve others who will be willing to offer music lessons of all types to our Navajo children.
