Atlanta/Norcross CPA Asks…Are You a Husband or a Mule?…Taking Christianity Into the World

Recently I let my imagination run wild and penned the below. As you read it I ask that you ask yourself several questions as I strive to constantly ask myself. Am I being the man God made me to be and is my wife proud of me. It is not easy to live in this confusing, hurried and self centered world with all of the temptations and pride that men feel, especially in light of God’s command in Ephesians 5: We are to love our wife as Christ loved the church. Being a Servant Leader is not easy, but when we do things God’s way our life and our wife are better off for it. In the Matchless Name of Christ!

Your Mule for My Husband

I am open to bartering your mule for my husband.

Mule must be faithful and willing to work.

Mule must come home at night and not oogle younger fillies.

Mule must be willing to be groomed periodically and take shots to avoid diseases.

Husband I have is willing and able to travel, especially from job to job.

Husband can and will work at any time, you will just never know when that time is.

Husband has showered before, just not recently.

Husband is housebroken…or should I say a home-breaker.

Husband looks good….You can see his ten year old pictures and see for yourself.

Husband is apt to say anything, at any time to anyone, you just do not know what it will be.

Mule can be dead or alive as long as you take husband!!!

Atlanta CPA Offers Thanksgiving for Warriors for the Kingdom of  God…Taking Christianity Into the World

Serving the Lost the Last and the Least

It was an honor to serve alongside you this Thanksgiving. God is deeply touched and honored by your efforts. Continue in your efforts to excel in all that you do and to look to the needs of others. Reading God’s word and applying it to your life and Christian Service, is how God will best pour out his power and majesty in your lives.

I watched every one of you intently on this day as you poured out God’s love and put down your busy daily lives and did What Jesus Would Do on this great day. You have answered this call and sought out His will for you, your family and your lives. I encourage you to draw a line in the sand and use this Thanksgiving as a defining moment in your lives to seek to Serve Him in All That You Do. If you accept this heavenly ordained will for your life, God will meet you where you are, guiding your steps.

In the Old Testament, Nehemiah was burdened by prayer and tears for the walls of Jerusalem, which lay in ruins. In Nehemiah’s Obedience, he sought out by prayer, God’s blessings and favor for his work. Nehemiah personally went to inspect the city walls to see what might be done to protect God’s chosen people. This Thanksgiving you have inspected the walls of the Homeless of Atlanta and found what I have also seen. A people who need love, a hand up and most of all God’s love from God’s people.

Seek always to Live in Obedience to His word and He will honor your efforts regardless of life’s circumstances, illness, job loss, family, work and school issues. We believe that God uses the oldest to the youngest in perfect unity to His will. He God uses us all, especially our weakness and our failings to serve, uplift and mentor to the needs of others. For it is in our weakness that we are strong. It is when we decrease and put aside things of the world, that God can use us to do great things in God’s name.

I invite you to join us on a great journey to work alongside Pastor 7 and the 7 Bridges to Recovery to Serve the Lost the Last and the Least of Atlanta. God wants you to live expectantly and to expect to be able to do Great Things in God’s Name, always seeking and expecting the Power and Majesty of Christ. If you live Humbly Seeking to Serve, Rather than Being Served, You will Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ bringing miracles into your life and the lives of others.

God has a Great Plan for You and Your Life. Join us as We Do This Great Thing God has laid on our Hearts.

In the Matchless Name of Our Lord and Savior,
John & Tami Dillard

Atlanta CPA on Morphing People Through the Redeeming Power of Christ…Taking Christianity Into the World

When God allowed us the privilege the serving the Navajo people we immediately began to see what we might do to not only have a great week but to both change the community that we serve as well as the people who travel with us. I have watched God change people again and again as people serve the Kingdom by being the Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ.

To this end we feel led to take Christ to the Navajo Nation (approximately the size of West Virginia). We are looking to take our model of service to the Navajo in Pueblo Pintado by partnering with churches, Bible Study Groups, Rotary, Chambers of Commerce and Kiwanis and then branching out to other locations on the reservation. We are looking for groups throughout America to speak to with the stated goal of:

-Encouraging Individual Family Involvement of Members of Your Group.

-Introductions to other Civic and Bible Study Groups, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Concerned Citizens and Faith Based Group.

-The prompting of the Holy Spirit (at one of our last Kiwanis Groups one of the men decided to staff the local High School with all of the football equipment they need to start a team.

I believe that now is the time of all good men and women to come both to the aid of their families and their country and our model of Family Missions is Good for the Whole Family.

“This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. ‘I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.’” Jeremiah 31:33

We are all called to serve the Kingdom, from the oldest to the youngest, to those who are ill to those who are strong, God wants all of us; our hearts and our minds. I believe Family Missions is the best way to grow together as a family in Christ and to invite God to be a daily part of our life. I believe that being “Others Focused” is being “About My Fathers Work.” Join us as we seek to change people, whether young or old, whether single, married or divorced by the Redeeming Power of Jesus Christ as we Take Christianity Into the World.
