Navajo Indian Family Missions Video…Taking Christianity Into the World

If you believe a picture is worth a thousand words then perhaps this is a Million Dollar Video. I invite you to see what God is doing with Navajo Family Missions as we Take Christianity Into the World. I entreat you to pray before you watch, that you watch with a open heart, and then that you listen to the Lion of Judah, Our God, speaking to your heart. Perhaps your family, your church, your Bible study group might join our Family Missions Work to the Navajo as we call down the power of Almighty God as we Worship, Grow and Serve Jesus Christ. See God at work at http://bit.ly/QS0V9 If you listen and watch with an open heart, it will change your world. We feel led to take Christ to the Navajo Nation (approximately the size of West Virginia). We are looking to take our model of service to the Navajo in Pueblo Pintado by partnering with churches, Bible Study Groups, Rotary, Chambers of Commerce and Kiwanis and then branching out to other locations on the reservation. We are looking for groups throughout America to speak to with the stated goal of:

-Encouraging Individual Family Involvement of Members of Your Group. -Introductions to other Civic and Bible Study Groups, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Concerned Citizens and Faith Based Group. -The prompting of the Holy Spirit (at one of our last Kiwanis Groups one of the men decided to staff the local High School with all of the football equipment they need to start a team. To gain a glimpse of our vision visit or if your church wants to get involved with our work visit http://www.hiscpa.com/blog/2009/07/30/casting-a-vision-navajo-family-missions-taking-christianity-into-the-world/

Taking Christianity Into the World

God is truly amazing and has great plans for Pueblo Pintado. Every year has been an evolution and this year was no different. We (the royal collective we) have been there planting seeds for 22 years. I know that we had a period of 10 years where no one visited, but for the last 12 years, the visits have been almost every year, with the last 6 being a consistent visit every year, the same time in July. The people in Pueblo Pintado that have been there the entire time and remember 22 years ago talk about that trip still today just as much as they talk about last year or 10 years ago. Everyone looks for us in July and when they see the white vans driving around their roads, they know to come to the school to see what’s going on.

We are, through God’s grace, making an impact!!! And with more of the folks in Pueblo Pintado having phones and/or internet, we have been more easily able to maintain contact with our friends between visits. I think this change alone has helped so much the last several years gaining traction in the community.

But this year has been especially awesome! I had forgotten that we put a men’s bible study” on the schedule 2 years ago but it didn’t work out so it didn’t happen that year or last year. This year, it wasn’t on the schedule BUT the Navajo men came looking for something for *them* – not their children or their wives!!!! God is at work in Pueblo Pintado. John and I started with 2 men on Monday morning and by lunch we had 5. On our biggest day we had 10, I think. On Friday, David came in and prayed over each gentleman present – personalized prayers for each one. He sent them home with the prayer they become the priest of their home – and I think they will! I still can’t put in words what I experienced Friday but I know God was there. I don’t know what will happen next year and who will lead but I do know that seeds have germinated and there will be a Men’s Bible Study on the schedule next year!

God is at work in Pueblo Pintado and in the hearts of every person who went on this trip this year (as in years past). Where God is at work, no one can come away without being changed in some way!!!
