Are you in a period of silence right now from God?

Are you in a period of silence right now from God? Remember Christ in the Garden of Gethsemane…three times He pleaded that this cup be removed from Him and received silence from His Father. If God spoke to his own Son in the form of silence, know that sometimes He will speak to us in silence too.  It is one of the hardest things to receive from our Father but through each period of silence, He builds our trust on Him.

This past week we have seen salvations and lives changed; two of which were our own children here at the Garden! God is moving and we are grateful to be a part of what He is doing! We have had lots of volunteers come through and serve with us and it is a beautiful thing to come together as the Body! We are still going out on the streets each Saturday and would love for you to join us anytime you can. As the weather gets colder, remember our brothers and sisters who don’t have a warm place to go back to. Saturday October 30th we are having a Fall Festival from 2-5 here at the Garden and then a concert at 7pm followed by Trunk-OR-Treating at 8:30. We need people to come and serve at all events so come one down if you are able!  Also, Thanksgiving Day, we will meet at the Kmart parking lot at 9:30 am to bring food to those out on the streets and then come back to the Garden at 1pm for a feast! Please join us and bring your family and friends with you!

Pastor 7 with 7 Bridges to Recovery is doing great things to Feed the Homeless of Atlanta while spreading the word of God. I suggest you go down and see what he is doing on the weekends to take the message to the streets of Atlanta. I believe he would be a great speaker to the whole congregation and Discipleship Groups as people are looking for opportunities to get real with their faith by being the very Hands and Feet of Jesus Christ. You can read about his Ministry at http://www.7bridgestorecovery.org/home_page.html   We are actively involved in going and supporting Pastor 7 and the great work he is doing to Serve the Lost, the Last & the Least. If a video is worth a thousand words these will indeed be priceless http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rsEGkj30R5Y&feature=related
